Since losing the weight I have gone down several clothing sizes, and even a shoe size. I’m also overall just happier and enjoy being able to know I could accomplish my goal. I’m definitely more confident and I’m excited about how I look. I used to also struggle with hip pain and lower back pain, but since losing the weight, I haven’t had those problems.
My future goals are to maintain my weight through exercising and using the nutrition information I received. I started out my weight loss journey at 250 pounds and I began losing some weight before the medication. But the biggest health improvement has been being able to increase my cardio health. The medication is only a part of what it takes to lose the weight and you only get out of it what effort you put in. I think you truly need to decide on your own because you need to be able to do it for yourself.
I’m definitely happier and I have more energy. I also discovered how much I like biking! I look forward to that everyday and I never thought I would look forward to exercising as much as I do.
